Hepatitus C
Hepatitus C is normally not a life threatening virus and can be treated with many normal methods of curing viral infections.
These include rest and a combination of antiviral medicines.

Since Hepatitus C is a virus that does affect the liver, it is quite possible for the disease to have ravaging affects on the body but this
happens in only a few rare cases.
In these cases, a liver transplant may be necessary.

Currently, there is no vaccination to protect against the Hepatitus C virus.

A few tips for stopping the spread of the virus are to:
  • Stop drinking alcohol due to its ability to help the disease spread quicker.
  • Avoid medications that have a harmful impact on the liver.
  • Prevent yourself from coming into contact with foreign blood.
  • Having protected sex
  • Not sharing needles.
